The white light-emitting organic electroluminescence device

2004
Between a pair of electrodes, and two or more light emitting layers, a white light-emitting organic electroluminescence device having an electron transporting layer comprising a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic derivative or silicon-containing heterocyclic derivative, the host material contained in the light-emitting layer the energy gap as a specific range, the energy gap of the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic derivative or silicon-containing heterocyclic derivative included in the electron transporting layer was in a specific range, the electron transport layer of the nitrogen-containing heterocyclic derivative or silicon-containing heterocyclic derivative the white light-emitting organic electroluminescence device in which the ionization potential of the host material of the luminescent layer in contact therewith satisfy a specific relationship. High luminous efficiency yet low voltage, has a long life, provides a white light-emitting organic electroluminescence device which does not cause a change in chromaticity.
