Study on the Piezoresistivity of Graphite Cement Mortar Block Embedded in Concrete Column

The piezoresistivity of graphite cement-based composites(GCC)block(40mm ×40mm×40mm)embedded in the concrete column(100mm×100mm×300mm)which is subject to different amplitudes of cyclic loading and monotonic loading are studied by four-electrode method,and the feasibility using GCC block to monitor stress and strain state of concrete column is also discussed.The results show that there is good corresponding relationship between the volume resistance change rate of GCC block and the compressive stress of concrete column.
