Emergency airway management in Pierre Robin Sequence, our nightmare experiences

Abstract Pierre robin sequence poses great challenge for anaesthesiologists during laryngoscopy and intubation, making oxygenation and ventilation difficult. An encounter with Pierre Robin sequence in neonate for airway management is even more challenging. The role of supraglottic airway devices as a rescue in a difficult airway is well documented. Here, we present a series of two interesting cases with Pierre robin sequence for emergency airway management in our tertiary care institute.
