Clinical characteristics of deep venous thrombosis after central venous catheter(CVC) in patients with breast cancer

Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristics of deep venous thrombosis after central venous catheter(CVC) in patients with braest cancer.Methods: The clinical data of 6 cases with deep venous thrombosis after CVC were analyzed retrospectively.all female;average age were 48±7.5;4 cases with subclavian pathway,2 cases with supraclavian pathway;average CVC times were 86 days.Results: All cases were with pain and swelling of upper-limb,anticoagulation,thrombolysis and antibiotics were used after diagnosis were confirmed,with no complication of embolization.Conclusion: Middle and old-aged people might be easily attacked,indwelling catheter time were too long;ultrasonic vascular examination always has positive results;anticoagulation was effective in all cases.
