Iterative Feedback Tuning of Two-Degree-of-Freedom Controllers for Lighting Process Control

This paper discusses aspects concerning the application of Iterative Feedback Tuning (IFT) technique to two-degree-of-freedom (2-DOF) control structures. A twofold aim is reached presenting both theoretical aspects of IFT and its implementation in terms of several IFT algorithms. The validation of theoretical results is carried out in terms of an IFT algorithm applied to the data-driven tuning of a 2-DOF Proportional-Integral-Derivative controller for light intensity control in the framework of lighting process control systems.
