The invention relates to a solenoid valve for actuating a fuel injector by means of a closing element (13), via which an outflow throttle (14) of a control chamber (15) is opened or closed. To an anchor bolt (6) is added to an anchor plate (7) movable and secured by a stop (5). opposite to the anchor plate (7) a magnet (2) is arranged. In the anchor bolt (6) is formed at least one overflow channel (26) through which a discharge throttle space (34) and a diversion chamber (35) are hydraulically connected to each other, for construction of a hydraulic cushion beneath the armature plate (7).
