Changes of housefly three enzyme activity during the resistance breeding course with beta-cypermethrin
2010
Objective To investigate the effect of beta-cypermethrin on the changes of activity in three enzymes, acetylcholinesterase, catalase, and glutathione S-transferase in Musca domestica. Methods The activity of three enzymes of Musca domestica was measured in the process of resistance cultivation with the kit,to analyze the change trend. Results The activity of 3 enzymes increased in varying degrees in the course of resistance cultivation, acetylcholinesterase activity increased to 11.693 U/mgprot from 0.064 U/mgprot;catalase activity increased to 19.331 U/mgprot from 1.062 U/mgprot;and glutathione S-transferase activity increased to 611.814 U/mgprot from 171.77 U/mgprot.Conclusion Acetylcholinesterase, catalase and glutathione S-transferase are three enzymes concerned with the resistances emergence of Musca domestica against beta-cypermethrin.
