Application of ventricular system visible study in medical image teaching

The diagnosis of the ventricular system disease is depending on CT and MRI examination. Mastering the knowledge of sectional anatomy is the basis of recognition normal and diagnosis disease. Successive thin-layer crosssectional images of the head were retrieved from the Chinese visible human data set. By these data sets, and resampling technique and three dimensions reconstruction technique, we build the 3D visible ventricular system models. The visible model connected sectional anatomy and integrity anatomy, as well as combined axial, Sagittal and coronal images. It is helpful to cultivate the ability of spatial thinking as well as set up three-dimensional concept of ventricular system. The satisfactory teaching effect was acquired when the visible model applied in the field of clinical medical image instruction.
