The use of hollow cylindrical ingots instead of solid ones simplifies considerably the manufacturing process of parts. In order to determine the quality of the ingots and predict and analyze the mechanical properties of parts made from them, the authors compare the parameters of the microstructure of hollow and solid cylindrical ingots and determine the distribution of scandium and zirconium among the structural components of the alloy.
