Case Studies: An Introduction

This short chapter is devoted to an introduction to and an overview of the cases studied with the reverse clustering approach and illustrated in the present book—their short characterisation and the indication of the respective interpretations of the problems formulated and hence also of the results obtained, in the vein of the framework, introduced in the preceding chapters. These cases include the road traffic data, the environmental contamination data, the categorisations of the administrative units (municipalities) in Poland), as well as some more academic data sets.
