음악청취가 저항운동에 있어서 퍼포먼스와 뇌 활동의 반응 및 심리상태에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to verigy how listening to music affects performance, response of brain activity(frontal EEG asymmetry) and mood states(POMS) in resistance exercise. Acordingly, Profile of Mood States(POMS) that evaluates feelings and moods was used to investigate psychological state. POMS is composed of questions evaluating 6 scales of emotions mood states such as tension and anxiety disappointment and depression, anger and hostility, vitality and fatigue and confusion. Study results are as follows. First, with respect to the effect of listening to music on performance in resistance in resistance exercise, the number of lifting bench press decreased significantly with increase in number of sets in both control condition · condition of listening to music. Second, in terms of the effect of listening to music on mood in resistance exercise, two scales of fatigue and depression · sense of isolation showed changes as a result of POMS. Accordingly, there is a need to conduct an individual examination on the conditions of exercise to show a relation between resistance exercise and frontal EEG asymmentry, which is a subject of future study. It is considered that active physical activities affect to sensory-exercising process of the aged people.
