Stable high slope efficiency, narrow linewidth Er:YAG laser with a volume Bragg grating

We report a stable high slope efficiency, narrow linewidth Er:YAG solid state laser by using a volume Bragg grating as wavelength selector. The maximum slope efficiency of 90% with the spectrum linewidth of about 0.1 nm was obtained.
