The application effect of clinical nursing management in diabetes mellitus with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease

2019
Objective To explore the effect of outpatient nursing management in patients with diabetes mellitus and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Methods A total of 120 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease in the hospital were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group by random number table method, 60 cases of each group. The observation group adopted outpatient nursing management, and the control group adopted routine nursing mode.Echocardiography, nutritional status and biochemical indexes before and after intervention were compared between the two groups, and cardiac events were recorded during 1-year follow-up. Results The nutritional status score of the intervention observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). HbA1c, BMI and blood lipid indexes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05). LVEF in the intervention observation group did not decrease significantly, while that in the control group decreased significantly, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse cardiovascular events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusions Outpatient nursing management is conducive to improving all kinds of biochemical indicators of patients, promoting the rehabilitation of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, and improving the nutritional status and cardiac function of patients.
