Drought-related impacts on water uses in North Alabama. CIRCULAR 127B

The purpose of this study was to identify and determine the broad, general impact of water supply shortages on both offstream and instream water users. More Specifically, the study (1) compiled detailed information regarding existing and projected offstream water use or withdrawals and instream uses, (2) identified and described existing and projected water quantity/quality-related problems, (3) described the relative impacts of water supply shortages on water users, and (4) delineated some alternative project and program actions and/or mitigative measures for decisionmakers' consideration as they address the problem of existing or anticipated water supply shortages.
