A numerical model of propagation of shear Alfven waves in collisionless plasma is presented. The model is based on the kinetic description for electrons in plasma and the hydrodynamical approximation for ions (hybrid model). Vlasov kinetic equation is solved by the modified particle in cell method that allows reducing numerical noise inherent to PIC-method. Algorithms for updating the particle position (that ensures plasma quasineutrality) and an algorithm for calculation of the electric field are proposed
