INCIDENCE POTENTIELLE DES BIOFONGICIDES À BASE DE TRICHODERMA SPP., SUR L’EXPRESSION DE LA FLORAISON ET DE LA QUALITÉ DES FÈVES DU CACAOYER EN CÔTE D’IVOIRE.

2015
In Cote d’Ivoire, the control against black pod disease caused by Phytophthora spp. is envisaged using biofungicides based Trichoderma. This study was performed to verify the safety of these biofungicides on flowering cocoa, fruit set and fruit development and assess their impact on the physicochemical properties of the quality of commercial cocoa beans. Formulations of T. virens T7, T. asperellum T54, T. spirale T4 and T. harzianum T40 were sprayed on flowers and pods of cocoa 25 randomly drawn from a population of 100 treated trees by species. The blooming flowers, rickety, fallen and then fallen rickety were counted on 10 active flower cushions per tree. The beans from the pods treated with Trichoderma, pH, total acidity, the content of fat, the acid number of the fat, the index of the red color and graining were measured after fermenting and drying cocoa. The results show that applications on cocoa trees of the four species of Trichoderma had no depressing effect on flowering cocoa, fruit set and falling knotted flowers. These applications have improved holding flowers tied treated trees. Biofungicides based T. virens T7, T.asperellum T54, T. spirale T4 and T. harzianum T40 sprayed on the pods had no influence on the chemical quality of cocoa beans. Cocoa beans from trees treated with T. harzianum show a slight increase in the graining.
