Knowledge Extraction by Self Organising Maps

At the example of particle shape analysis the application of selforganisung maps and feedforward backpropagation networks is shown. The main problem is the feature extraction out of a big amount of data. This is done by interpretation of the structure of the Kohonen-layer.
