Wavelets con aplicación a compresión de datos

This paper presents the basic concept about wavelets theory and approach to data compression for wireless communications. The tool used is the level one Haar transformation for discrete implementation on a RISC PIC18F4520 of microchip. The wireless communications use a XBEE-PRO modem than has two versions serial and usb both were used to communicate the remote system and personal computer.
