Measurement of the $Sigma$$sup -$ magnetic moment

The magnetic moment of the ..xi../sup -/ hyperon has been measured to be ..mu..(..xi../sup -/) = -0.69 +- 0.04 +- 0.02 nuclear magnetons, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.
