State information of the relay protection device recorded in a built-in RFID chip of the device is read regularly by a hand-held equipment state inspection device; an RFID antenna is mounted on a front liquid crystal panel of a case and connected with the RFID chip by a radio frequency match circuit; device debugging state information is read into a relevant position of the RFID chip by the hand-held state inspection device when the device leaves a factory; and an M4 singlechip is responsible for periodically reading device running state information, board card hardware state self-checking information and the like into the RFID chip, periodically sampling temperature and humidity information and power supply voltage information of the case, computing the life of a board card according to the information, and reading the temperature and humidity information of the case and the life of the board card into the RFID chip. The monitoring equipment and the monitoring method have the characteristics of high generality, reliable performance, simple circuit and readability during power failure. Vigorous analysis criteria can be provided for many difficult-to-repeat fault problems.
