A cleaning device and an image forming apparatus

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device that stably polishes a photoreceptor drum by uniformly forming a toner layer of a sufficient thickness on a cleaning roller surface even if the amount of toner to be supplied to the cleaning roller increases or decreases, and stably polishes the photoreceptor drum for a long time without wearing the member constituting the cleaning device, and to provide an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The cleaning device 1 includes a cleaning roller 3 arranged in contact with a photoreceptor drum 2, and a toner layer thickness regulating roller 4 rotating in contact with the cleaning roller 3. A difference between the rotation speed of the cleaning roller 3 and the rotation speed of the toner layer thickness regulating roller 4 can be changed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
