Triplet Electron Transfer in Covalently Linked Porphyrin-Quinones Detected with Time-Resolved EPR

1990
Light-induced triplet electron transfer (ET) of covalently linked porphyrin-quinone molecules (P-Q) have been studied with time-resolved EPR in glass forming solvents at temperatures between 130 K and 160 K. Both, the porphyrin excited triplet state TP-Q and the radical pair triplet state (+P-Q-) T formed after ET from TP-Q, are observed.
