Highly dense rare-earth hybrid bonded-magnet consolidated under heat and transverse field configuration

Abstract A highly dense, hybrid bonded-magnet including solid unsaturated polyester was developed by consolidating granular compound under heat (383 K ) and transverse magnetic field for alignment (2.0 MA / m ) . The density and ( BH ) max values of the hybrid bonded-magnet exceeded 6.2 Mg / m 3 and 180 kJ / m 3 , respectively.
