Just genetic discrimination? The ethics of Australian law reform proposals.

The Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) and Australian Health Ethics Council are jointly conducting a National Inquiry into the Protection of Human Genetic Information and would report to the federal government, in an effort to work on legislation to prohibit underwriters using genetic tests in discriminatory way. The ethics of nine law reform options, which originate from six general approaches to underwriting, are analysed.
