Lifetime of the He2(a3Σ+u metastable helium molecule in electron-bombarded solid helium☆

Abstract The diffusion limited lifetime of the He 2 ( a 3 Σ + u ) metastable helium molecule in electron-bombared solid helium has been found to be nearly the same as its lifetime in similarly excited liquid helium.
