STEAMED ASPHALT PAVEMENT DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT PROJECT SERVICE AREA A15-ROTTERDAM NL

With the steamed asphalt process it's possible to recycle normal asphalt and tar contaminated asphalt in a warm process without hazardous emissions of PAH. By the addition of binders like asphalt emulsion and cement the RAP material gets characteristics almost equivalent to hot asphalt types like crushed gravel asphalt concrete. Because of the high density of the SA mixture there is almost no possibility for leakage of contaminants.
