Research on the Composite Architecture of Distributed Collaboration of CAD

Based on the analysis of the process of distributed collaboration and the Real-time requirement of information transmission,a composite architecture for distributed collaboration of CAD is presented.In this architecture,the distributed asynchronous messages are transmitted by B/S,and the distributed synchronous messages are transmitted by C/S between the special ActiveX in a Web page and the special collaborative server.The development of the special ActiveX based on the document/view architecture and the realization of the reliable transmission of the distributed synchronous messages are discussed in detail.
