Efficiency of Mosquito Coils and Sticks Products (ประสิทธิภาพทางชีววิเคราะห์ของผลิตภัณฑ์ยาจุดกันยุง)

During 1 October 1998 to 30 September 2003, 318 mosquito coils and sticks submitting by privates companies were analyzed by glass chamber method for bioefficiency against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. As a result, 94.03 percent of samples complied to the standard of testing method and 37.86 percent of them showed KT90 6-8 mins. The results showed that all formulations contained Pyrethroid as their active ingredients, particularly d-Allethrin (55.03 %). The most efficient product formulation contained Allethrin as their active ingredient.
