The invention relates to a novel floating-ball-controlled initial rainwater flow-discarding device which comprises a box body, a water inlet pipe, a flow discarding pipe, a collecting pipe, a secondary collecting pipe, an upper analogous floating ball body and a lower analogous floating ball body, wherein the box body is divided into an upper box body and a lower box body which are connected through an I-shaped opening; the water inlet pipe and the collecting pipe are arranged at the upper end of the upper box body, the secondary collecting pipe is arranged at the upper end of the lower box body, the lower end is connected with the flow discarding pipe, a soleplate is arranged at the bottom, a baffle plate is arranged on the inner wall of the lower box body, and the upper analogous floating ball body with the thickness larger than the pipe diameter of the secondary collecting pipe is arranged on the baffle plate and connected with the lower analogous floating ball body with the thickness larger than the pipe diameter of the secondary collecting pipe through a connecting line. The invention has the characteristics that the circulation switching of rainwater between the collecting pipe and the flow discarding pipe is realized through the positions of the analogous floating ball bodies, and the flow discarding mode is simple and easy to control, so that initial rainwater and later rainwater are effectively separated, the rainwater collection stopping time can be judged, and the magnitude of the flow discarding quantity can be automatically controlled. The device has the advantages of no electronic equipment, simple structure, durability and convenient maintenance and overhauling.
