Regiospecific Synthesis of Dithiocarbamates via a Markovnikov Addition Reaction

A simple, efficient, and regiospecific method for the synthesis of dithiocarbamates by the one-pot, three-component Markovnikov­ addition reaction of an amine, carbon disulfide, and N -vinylpyrrolidone is described.
