초등학교 교실의 실외 미세먼지 침입을 고려한 공기청정기의 설치위치에 관한 사례연구

The purpose of this study was to analyze the placement of the portable air cleaner in the classroom affected by outdoor particle infiltration. For this purpose, field experiments and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation based on Lagrangian method were conducted. The field experiments on 3 elementary school classrooms located in Seoul were conducted to measure the airtightness and the leakage area of suspected particle penetration pathways. The CFD simulation considering outdoor particle infiltration was conducted to evaluate the particle removal performance according to the placement of portable air cleaner. The experiment results show that the leakage area of classrooms is significantly large indicating that classroom air quality can be influenced by outdoor particle infiltration. The CFD simulation results show a large variation of the overall particle removal for different positions of the portable air cleaner. Assuming the outdoor particle concentration is 125 ㎍·m-3, the particle removal performance varies by a factor of 3.06 times depending on the position of the air cleaner.
