Selective IgA deficiency, the most frequent. Clinical presentation: recurrent respiratory infections and digestive. Associates: Deficiency of IgG subclasses (12%). Diagnosis: serum IgA levels equal to or less than 7 mg/dL, with levels of IgG and IgM normal. IgG subclass deficiency, decreased by 2 standard deviations, with normal levels of total IgG. There are 4 subtypes. The IgG2 (more frequent) responsible for the response to encapsulated bacteria. Enrolled with acute otitis media, sinusitis, pneumonia. Hypersensitivity the milk proteins (HPL) is the most common food allergies (1st year of life). Compounds of the allergens are cow’s milk: casein, alpha-lactoglobulins, beta-lactoglobulins. The bodies of crash: skin and respiratory system gastrointestinal diagnosis: gold standard, placebocontrolled food challenge and double blind.
