Polarographic reduction of aryl hydrazono alloxans

Abstract The polarographic reduction of a number of coupled products of aryl diazonium salts with 1,3-dimethyl barbituric acid have been studied over a wide pH range. The effects of substituent groups, solvent composition, ionic strength, different cations and surface active compounds on the electrode reaction is discussed.
