3-Amino-5-sulfamoylbenzoic acids and several series of (aryloxy)alkanoic acids were evaluated for their inhibitory effects on two human erythrocyte ion transport systems — the Na+, K+ cotransport system and the DIDS-sensitive anion carrier.
