Preliminary Reflection on the Implementation of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions in the Digital Age

This report, submitted to the 4th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (UNESCO, Paris, June 2013) examines the impact of digital technologies on the way the diversity of cultural expressions is evolving. It proposes a number of topics for discussion with a view to adapting the implementation of this Convention to the particularities of the digital environment.
