Intravenous Immunoglobulins in the Treatment of Intractable Epilepsy

Karpiak et al. (3) demonstrated that experimental modeis of epilepsy can be produced by autoimmune mechanisms. Pechadre et al. (5) reported a beneficial effect of a treatment with intramuscular gammaglobu-lins in children suffering from very severe epilepsy. This study was confirmed later by Laffont et al. (4) and more recently by Bedini et al. (2).
