The present invention relates to a novel reactive organic product comprising one or more polyfunctional organic compounds of formula (I) and its use as a crosslinking agent cleavable in a reactive bi-component composition. The invention also relates to curable compositions, especially coating compositions, comprising an organic compound reagent according to the invention. Finally, the invention relates to the use of coating compositions of the invention as self-healing coatings, as well as a self-healing process.
