2-substituted quinoline, its preparation and its use for pharmaceutic

PURPOSE: To provide a new 2-substd. quinolines having effects for enzymatic reactions relating to arachidonic acid metabolism, especially having an effect as an lipoxygenase inhibitor. CONSTITUTION: This invention provides a compd. expressed by formula I and its physiologically acceptable salts. In formula I, A, B, D, E, G, L are H, OH, halogen, CN, carboxyl, NO 2 , alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, etc.; R 1 is halogen, CN, NO 2 , azide, CF 3 , alkoxy, alkyl, aryl, NR 4 R 5 (R 4 , R 5 are H, alkyl, phenyl, etc.); R 2 is cycloalkyl, alkenyl; R 3 is OR 6 , NR 7 -SO 2 -R 8 (R 6 is H, alkyl, phenyl; R 7 is H, alkyl; R 8 is aryl, alkyl), and for example, the compd. is 2-[3- fluoro-4-(quinolin-2-yl-methoxy)phenyl]-methylacetate. A compd. expressed by formula I which R 3 is OR 6 is obtd. by removing protecting groups in a compd. expressed by formula II (W is an OH protecting group; R 6 ' is same as R 6 excluding H), changing the compd. into an ether with a compd. expressed by formula III (Y is halogen), and if necessary, hydrolyzing.
