Optimization of medium components for tacrolimus production using response surface design

The two-level factorial design was employed to evaluate the influence of all the seven factors on the tacrolimus production.The optimal concentration ranges of the glucose,yeast extract,peanuts powder and NaCl were investigated,which obviously influenced the tacrolimus production,and the medium was optimized by using the central composite design and response surface analysis.As a result,the production of tacrolimus was increased by 55%.
