Homogeneous Network Flow optimization Method for Regional Gas-Electricity Integrated Energy System

Current research on integrated energy system (IES) optimization lacks unified and homogeneous work. It is also not suitable for distribution network with high resistance-to-reactance ratio. The network flow model has the ability to unify and visually represent the energy flow of the transmission grid, distribution network and natural gas network. In this paper, based on the characteristics of IES are the same internal essence and similar external forms, a unified homogeneous network flow model of the gas-electricity IES is constructed. Heterogeneous energy is homogenized to the unified platform for calculation. Case studies show that this model can clearly show the energy flow and has no limitation of the grid structure. The corresponding algorithm can quickly converge linearly. It can reasonably reflect the characteristics of IES including the distribution network, and provide a reference for unified optimization dispatch of multienergy flow.
