La formation du sédiment calcaire du lac de Neuchâtel

The present paper studies the calcareous sediments of lake Neuchâtel. The thickness of the annual deposit of mud has been estimated by various methods (pp. 206 to 224). Precipitation of CO3Ca is tentatively related to variation of the depth at which is found the so-called «Sprungschicht» (pp. 225 to 269). Some of the physical and chemical properties of calcareous sediments have been determined (pp. 270 to 283).
