The present invention relates to a control device by an optical tracking gas burner finger of the user.The device comprises a gas valve (1) connected upstream to a gas supply circuit and providing the downstream gas burner, a motor (4) for driving in rotation of the shaft opening (5) of the tap, means (10) whose rotation is the rotation of the shaft opening ( 5), a circuit (14) for controlling the motor (4) and transmitting and receiving means (11) fixed on the body (10) interacting with a finger (13) of a user so that when the finger moves to the right, a receiver sends a signal to the circuit (14) for controlling the motor rotation to the right, and when the finger moves to the left, a further receiver sends a signal to the circuit (14) to control the rotation of the motor to the gauche.L'invention applies especially for domestic gas cooking appliances.
