Surgery is undoubtedly effective for earlystage cancer cases. It is a radical cure, but not all satisfactory in treating middle-late-stage cancer, for it is frequently followed by recurrence and metastasis. Therefore, it may be too late to perform a second operation. Biologic therapy is a rapidly developed treatment in recent years. It aims at strengthening the immunity of the human body. But its effectiveness is affected by the growth of the cancer and it may be countered by blockage factors within some patients.
