Effect of the Degree of Dispersion of the Curing System on the Properties of Rubber Compounds and Vulcanizates

1973
Abstract The viscosity of a rubber compound and its curing rate are determined by the number of initial aggregates of rubber mobilized around the ingredients of the curing system and by the distances between them. The lower the degree of dispersion of the ingredients of the curing system, the later is the cure stage in which a continuous vulcanization network is formed.
