The device comprises a strain tower and power transmission lines fixed at the two sides of the top of the strain tower. The device is characterized in that one end of an L-shaped tower scaffold is fixed at the top of the strain tower, the other end of the L-shaped tower scaffold is connected with one ends of two connecting rods through hinges, the other ends of the two connecting rods are respectively connected with one ends of two adjusting rods, the other ends of the two adjusting rods are fixedly connected with the power transmission lines. According to the overhead ground wire bridging device for the inspection robot, the power transmission lines fixed at the two sides of the strain tower are connected through the connecting rods and the adjusting rods, so that the problem that the inspection robot can not step across to the power transmission line at the other side from the power transmission line at one side nowadays can be effectively solved. The overhead ground wire bridging device has the advantages of simple structure and convenience in mounting and use; and meanwhile, the connecting rods are connected with the adjusting rods by adopting hinges, and the adjusting rods are connected with the power transmission lines by adopting hinges, so that the problem of fatigue fracture of connecting parts caused by the galloping of the power transmission lines can be solved.
