Dielectric, thermal and ferroelectric properties of 0.92Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3-0.08PbTiO3 and 0.4Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3-0.6PbTiO3 ceramics

ABSTRACTGood quality ceramics of (1-x)Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3-xPbTiO3 (x = 0.08 and 0.6) were prepared following a standard solid-state method. The crystal structure, phase transitions behaviour, thermal and dielectric properties of these ceramics were investigated. All compositions show complete perovskite solid solutions. The maximum of electric permittivity was observed at about Tm ≈ 299 and 513°C for x  = 0.08 and 0.6, respectively (on cooling, at 100 kHz). The transitions temperatures observed by means of DSC measurements are in good agreement with those obtained from dielectric study.
