Effects of La 0.5 Sr 0.5 CoO 3 buffer layers on the structure and properties of Pb(Zr 0.53 Ti 0.47 )O 3 -CoFe 2 O 4 composite films

In this work, Pb(Zr 0.53 Ti 0.47 )O 3 -CoFe 2 O 4 (PZT-CFO) composite films were deposited on platinum silicon substrate using conductive La 0.5 Sr 0.5 CoO 3 (LCSO) as buffer layers. Both LSCO and PZT-CFO films were prepared via a chemical solution deposited method. The structure and morphology of the composite films were analyzed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). XRD results show that both Pb(Zr 0.53 Ti 0.47 )O 3 and CoFe 2 O 4 phase were detected in the composite films. It is observed that the composite films demonstrate good ferroelectric and magnetic properties simultaneously. The composite films for LSCO of 6 layers are found to have the best ferroelectric property with the enhanced ferromagnetization.
