Atherosclerotic Plaque Tissue: Noninvasive Quantitative Assessment of Characteristics with Software-aided Measurements from Conventional CT Angiography

The results of our study showed that software algorithms can be used with routine CT angiography acquisitions to improve the accuracy of atherosclerotic plaque tissue characteristic quantitation validated by rigorous metrics of agreement with histopathologic quantitative measures and with low reader variability.
