167Tm: A New Bone Scanning Agent1

167Tm has several distinct advantages as a bone scanning agent, including a half-life of 9.8 days, a gamma-ray emission of 208 keV, which is suitable for imaging with both the Anger camera and the rectilinear scanner, a relatively low radiation dose to the patient, and good localization in bone.
