Localizing Full-Duplex Relay Spoofer in Wireless Communication Networks

In wireless communication networks, full-duplex relay is one of the most effective techniques to enhance the communication between transmitter and edge receivers. However, it can also be used by the spoofing attacks. Most of the existing methods cannot locate the spoofer that works as a full-duplex relay. To deal with the issue, we propose a new spoofer localization method, where several reference nodes are adopted to obtain the location of the spoofer. In the proposed method, we estimate the distance among the spoofer and different nodes. Then, the location of the spoofer can be calculated using least-square method. Simulation results show the performance of our proposed method.
